Appointment of Advisors at Special Secretary Level Through Lateral Entry Scheme

Jharkhand today is an exciting place to work. The State Government has launched several key Governance reforms including major restructuring of Government Departments by reducing the total number of Departments from 43 to 30 and has recently been ranked at No. 3 in the country in Ease of Doing Business.
 
To augment the capacity to successfully implement its reforms agenda, Government of Jharkhand now seeks to hire professional's as advisors on contractual basis to contribute at senior level at the rank of Special Secretary in key Departments. These individuals will have the opportunity to play important roles in strategic planning and formulation and implementation of new initiatives and schemes by applying their expertise, leadership qualities, visionary thinking and best practices.

In the second phase, Government of Jharkhand seeks to recruit advisor(s) at the rank of Special Secretary in the following departments.

• To prepare an overall roadmap of key reforms and new initiatives for the Department.
• To facilitate improved implementation of schemes through effective program management and adoption of best practices.
• To provide regular inputs for effective policy planning and formulation of schemes.
