Urgent Requirement

Symbiosis Foundation proposes to establish a unique residential skill development university to be called Symbiosis University or Applied Sciences at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The University plans to commerce from academic year 2016. Application are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts

Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Management and Engineering
Information Technology, Electronics, Automobiles, Constructions, Manufacturing, Retail and Banking

• Desirable Skills and Competencies for Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor
• Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization.
• Papers presented at conferences and/or published in refereed journals.
• Publish work, such as research papers, patents filed/ obtained, books and/or technical reports.
• Experience of guiding the project work/ dissertation of PG/Research students or supervising R&D projects in industry.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and/or professional activities.
• Capacity to undertake/ lead sponsored R&D consultancy and related activities.
• The candidates should be above to provide leadership to establish the Department of Engineering/ Management.
• To maintain close interaction with the industry for curriculum development, applied research, training, placement etc.

Qualification: PhD degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Management, Engineering & Technology.

Experience: Experience of 10 years in teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least 5 years at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader or equivalent grade. Experience in the field of Skill Development, Vocational Education and Applied Sciences
