Symbiosis Foundation proposes to establish a unique residential skill development university to be called Symbiosis University or Applied Sciences at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The University plans to commerce from academic year 2016. Application are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts

Vice Chancellor
A visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching & research credentials with outstanding academic record & expertise in the field of Skill Development, Vocational Education and Applied Sciences.

Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Management/ Engineering.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization. At least 5 years of administrative experience in the field of Higher education not below the rank of Professor/ Head of The Department in a university. Experience in the field of Skill Development, Vocational Education and Applied Sciences. At least 5 years of industrial experience in a reputed company. Experience of working with international bodies and international exposure to best practices in the field of higher education. Demonstrable success in developing strategic relationships and collaborations with industry.

For the position minimum essential qualification, experience and pay scales as per UGC and AICTE guidelines.
