General Manager-Manufacturing
This person would be the head of the Apex Foodwear Ltd. Factories in Shafipur, Gazipur, Bangladesh, with full responsibility for production and quality.

Job location: Factory of Apex Footwear Ltd in Shafipur, about 40 km outside capital Dhaka city.

Key responsibility: 

• Lead entire factory production and quality teams.
• Drive production planning & ensure quality & delivery targets are mat.
• Optimize capacity and human resource utilization to maximize productivity.
• Develop and implement best practices for production, quality, efficiency and people.

• At least 10 years of leather footwear manufacturing experience, preferably in export with proven, strong track record of leadership in production management
• Prior experience of having individually managed factories with at least 3000 workers
• Proven experience in production problem solving, quality systems and improving productivity 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and be comfortable working with foreigners and also communicating with non native English speakers. 
• Strong and effective leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working with, implementing and continuing global industry best practices like BSCI, LEAK manufacturing, LWG etc will he con-frittered an additional qualification

Location: Shafipur

Salary: Apex Footwear Ltd. offers industry competitive US Dollar compensation package including accommodation in the Factory premises.

Employment Nature: Contractual, Initially for 2 years with an option of extension.
