Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is an outcome consequent to the Karnataka Legislature and the Government of Karnataka passing a special legislation - Karnataka Act No. 20 of 2013 that enabled creating the new university - The Dayananda Sagar University Act 2012. DSU, planned to start operations in 2015-16, intends to fill the following vacancies:

Location: Bengaluru (Bangalore)

Dean Professors/ Associate/ Assistant Professors

Academic:

Management Studies
Engineering: Mechanical, Electronics & Communication Engg, Computer Science Engg, Civil, Environmental, Electrical & Electronics Engg.
Management: Finance/ HR/ Mktg/ IT/ International Business

Computer Applications
Basic Sciences & Humanities: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, English, Economics, Sociology

Qualification & Experience: As per AICTE norms & Ph.D is essential

Assistant Professors in Engineering & management: M.Tech/ MBA. Registration for Ph.D preferred.

Candidates from IITs/ IISc/ IIMs/ Overseas universities/ industry and research experience/ publications/ patents & exceptional achievements would fined preference.

• Secretary (University Affairs)
• Assistant Librarian

Registrar: A post-graduate, complete familiarity to comply with all start regulations, ability to independently set up regulations, ability to independently set up and run the office of the Registrar and related activities. 3-8 years similar work experience is essential.

For all other positions: A University degree with minimum 3-8 years work experience in the respective fields is essential.

Salary: As per 6th pay scale. Higher start would be paid based on an individual's track record.
