Walk In Interview

The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, is looking for prospective candidates for filling up the following position under the scientific project "Deep crustal studies of the Indian Continental margins and its interior: An onshore - offshore perspective". The position is purely temporary and on a project mode, initially for a period of one year. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions are invited to attend a walk-in-interview at NCAOR on 02nd February, 2015 (Monday).

Research Scientist B
Desirable:

• Knowledge of Geophysical Data processing, interpretation, and exposure to UNIX/LINX environments with programming skills.

No. of Posts: 1

Qualification: Masters Degree in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks in the qualifying degree level

Experience: Desirable - Two years of experience in geophysical data acquisition processing and interpretation.

Location: Goa

Salary: Emoluments - PB-36 (15600 - 39100) + GP Rs. 5400 + HRA, DA as per GOI norms.
