Mechanical Engineer - Carbon Department

Provide technical support to both the maintenance and production units in Carbon Plant. TO be responsible for the maintenance improvements programs, equipment cataloguing, contractor management and equipment overhaul projects. Ensure efficient running of Carbon plant machinery by performance analysis, fault finding and improvement programs (i.e. analysis of uptime, OEE etc.). Contribute to efficient functioning of Carbon Plant maintenance team by maintaining up to date equipment catalogue, bills of materials and work instructions ensuring the instructions comply with statutory requirements. Ensure the equipment overhauls are optimized by detailed planning and management of the shutdowns. Contribute to safety improvement by performing a job safety analysis along with appropriate potential problem analysis for equipment modifications and procedural changes.

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in the relevant Engineering field

Experience: 6-8 years' experience in a similar role in the Aluminium industry and 3 years Supervisory Experience.
