Applications are invited in duplicate from the qualified candidates for the following post.

Assistant Director
Qualification:

1. At least 55% Marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Masters Degree Level in relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
   
   
2. Subject: Master degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Bio-statistics/ Economics/ Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Geography. Persons with PG. Degree other than Demography/Population Studies should have completed a minimum One year regular Course in Demography/Population Studies at a recognised Institution/University.
   
   
3. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or Similar Test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Notwithstanding anything contained in 2 and 3 above candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (min. standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations 2009, as amended from time to time shall be exempted from the requirements of minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor or Equivalent position NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Programmers in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted.

Salary: Pay scale - 15,600-39,100+AGP-6,000
