The Commercial Specialist would be responsible for advising, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on intellectual property rights (IPR) matters for their areas of geographic responsibility and coverage. One position will primarily focus on the countries of South Asia - primarily: Sri Lanka, Banglades, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives. The other position would focus on India.
Minimum Requirements:
- Level IV (Fluency) in English and Hindi.
- Should have expert knowledge in at least two fields of IPR law and general knowledge of the principles governing protection of IP, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Familiar with use personal computer and software packages such as MS – Word, EXCEL, Ooutlook, and Internet.

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Law
Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience working in the areas of intellectual property, which may include, but is not limited to, corporate transactions, licensing, brand protection and knowledge of regulatory approval system for pharmaceutical, agrochemical and biotechnology products
