The DM Wayanad Institute of Medical of Medical Sciences (DM-WIMS) promoted by DM Education and Research Foundation is envisaged to become an important destination for Medical Education and Treatment in India, providing Graduate and Post Graduate Programs and Research facilities in Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical and in various Allied Heath subjects.

DM WIMS is located in 50 acres of scenic land on the serene green hills of Wayanad at Meppadi with state of the art infrastructure and 12,00,000 square feet built up area. The WIMS hospital will have 300 beds to start which will be increased to 700 beds in 5 years. The Phase I of the project DM WIMS Medical College & Hospital, foundation stone for which was laid by Hon. Chief Minister for Kerala, Shri Oomen Chandy is already under construction with the hospital shall be functional by this year and first batch of students shall be admitted in 2012.
