The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune (NCRA) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental  Research (ITFR) (an autonomous) institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA-TIFR has set up two radio telescopes. Viz, the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world’s  largest radio telescope at metre wavelegths. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for its GMRT Observatory.

Engineer-D (Digital)
Age: Below 35 years

Essential Qualification:
(i) BE/BTech (electronics, communication, instrumentation, computers) with more than 60% marks in aggregate
(ii) Familiarity with digital design at an advanced level with good digital design at an advanced level with good Knowledge of PFGAs Matlab / Simulink, VHDL / VeriLog programming, computers and applications.

Experience: Minimum 7 years in digital system development including hardware design, PFGA programming and supervision of digital system work in a reputed organisation.
