We have been retained by our Clients who are a large USA Based MNC with manufacturing/Sales locations all over the world with revenues exceeding 1 billion $. The clients India Office located in Coimbatore and supports and services their Global operations. They are presently looking for the following IT Professionals to be based out of Coimbatore.

Software Developer
The responsibilities of the Administrator would be

• Would be a member of the IT Software Development team, providing SharePoint Administration, information architecture, and custom business applications for its Global Operations Day-to-day activities involve development and support for evolving SharePoint infrastructure and the ongoing software development and maintenance needs of our business applications. Coordinate with IT engineering, business applications, DBAs, global branding, and internal communications to implement a SharePoint architecture that utilizes best practices and that meets corporate objectives.
• Deploy SharePoint functionality to include planning and implementing upgrades, creating new web parts, configuration changes and administration of other system components.
• Maintain Web servers, CMS servers, SharePoint farms and related databases. Coordinate high availability, disaster recovery, and backup and restores of SharePoint
• Work with application architects and other developers to create systems and development standards that appropriately address all identified system aspects including system security.
• Produce all necessary support processes, technical documentation and maintenance plans.
• Complete moderately complex, hands-on development tasks that are accurate and coincide with project plans.
• Work with location wise IT managers and internal Interfaces with internal clients to answer questions, respond to requests and provide technical assistance and training as needed. Works with multiple systems software team and operations units.

Position Requirements:

• A Minimum of Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related technical field, or administration/development environment.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of Microsoft .NET administration/development experience working with all the relevant SJM platforms identified below: • Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) & Windows SharePoint Services v3 (WSS) • SQL Server 2k5/2k8 .Internet Information Server v6 & v7 & Windows Server 2k3 and 2k8 • C#, ASP.NET.ADO.NET, HTMU CSS /XML • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. • Experience in Developing and utilizing SharePoint Designer & Components with ability to work within a full life cycle project delivery methodologies including waterfall, RUP and XP • Excellent inpterpersonal skills written and oral English, technical support, communication, and customer service skills.
