Sears India is currently looking for:

Hadoop Developer:

• Total experience of 3-4 Years.
• Map - Reduce working knowledge is a must.
• Good understanding of Core Java & Hive.

Hadoop Lead/Architect:

• Experience: 7-10 Years.
• Firm knowledge of Core Java. Significant work experience in Hadoop platform and its associated technologies like hive / pig, flume, scoop etc.
• Minimum 2-3 yrs of architecting and implementing, creating Design and Functional specifications, participating in code reviews
• Good knowledge of Hive, HDFS. Knowledge of flume, scoop and pig will be an added advantage
• Experience working with Open Source Community (As Apache Hadoop Contributor, Committer)

Ruby on Rails Developer/Sr. Developer/Lead:

• Experience: 2-7 Years.
• Good experience in Ruby On Rails development.
• Good working knowledge in Linux.
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and debugging Rails Application.
• Good concept in My Sql database.

Natezza Database Administrator:

• Experience: 6-8 Years.
• Evaluate and characterize workload and query performance, and utilize specialized Data Warehouse Infrastructure tools.
• Evaluate new customer implementation and advise on how those environments can run more efficiently and effectively. Install, parameterize, implement and operate all Data Warehouse Infrastructure tools and utilities.
• Candidates for this position must have experience utilizing a variety of tools available for the Teradata, Netezza and Hadoop processing environments.

My SQL DBA:

• Experience: 4-6 Years.
• Experience in 11g configurations and administration
• Strong experience in turning and addressing performance and latency issues.
• Experience in CDC or other replication tools.
• Experience on Linux and Scripting.

Java Architect:

• Experience: 10-12 Years.
• At least 6 years of design experience and at least 2-3 years of demonstrated experience as Java architect on medium to complex applications.
• Ability to define the road map for the implementation of the architecture.
• Deep understanding of the workings of java VM in Linux environment.
• Sound understanding of design patterns.
• Significant experience and very good understanding of JBOSS AS.

Unix/Linux and Scripting:

• Experience: 4-8 Years.
• Experience on UNIX and Linux with expert knowledge of Shell Scripting, sound knowledge of databases.
• Should be knowledgeable in Java.
• Hands-on experience in writing and debugging Shell Scripts that invoke J2SE or J2EE modules.
• Knowledge of utilities like SFTP, MAIL, SORT, etc in Linux environment.
• Experience with version control tools like subversion, etc.
