The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), The world's leading organization working for the rights of children, is seeking to recruit the following staff for their office in Patna (Bihar). The position requires fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of local working language of the duty station will be an asset.

Senior Information Communication Telecom Assistant

The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical, operational and procedural support and end-user services in the implementation and support of information management (systems, procedures and activities) of the field office. Manage the IT infrastructure and telecom facilities to ensure their smooth functioning and uninterrupted services in the office.

Qualification: Completion of Secondary education supplemented with formal training (university level) in Computer Science or computer related certification (e.g. A+ Certification, ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent customer support certification).

Experience: Minimum seven years of progressively responsible experience in computer information management work, including data processing applications, database, multi-user network and telecommunications, hardware/ software installation, user assistance and end-user documentation in support of office computerization.
