Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. (GSPL) is a Company promoted by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) and other state sector units. GSPL was incorporated in December 1998 with the primary objective to ensure a systematic and integrated development of gas transmission infrastructure. GSPL is having a mandate of laying a high-pressure cross-country pipeline across the state of Gujarat. It conforms to high standards of Health, Safety and Environment.

Gujarat State Petronet limited (GSPL) is a spearheading the move to a new era of clean fuel industrialization and creation of green energy corridors. These would connect major consumption centers outside Gujarat enabling it to become a national player in India with a major gas grid network.

It has achieved operational milestones and created a niche for itself in the market by winning three major bids for Mallawaram-Bhilwara Pipeline Project (MBPL) of approximately 1600 kms and Mehsana-Bhatinda Pipeline Project (MBPL) of approximately 1650 kms and Bhatinda-Jammu-Srinagar Pipeline Project (BJSPL) of approximately 740 kms, thus aiming at becoming a leading player in the national market by expanding its business outside the State of Gujarat.

To facilitate the network expansion as well as allied activities at a national level, a team of self-driven professionals are being identified for different positions:

Commercial

Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLCOMM1

  • Qualification: B.E. (in any discipline) + MBA (Finance).
  • Experience: For the level of Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manger 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, for the level of Manager and above, minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a pre-requisite.

The candidate should have a broad understanding of age transportation management and gas sales and purchase processes. Will facilitate Business Development activities and will also be required to handle negotiations, formulation of gas transportation agreement with prospective bulk energy customers and major gas suppliers. Should possess good knowledge of Natural Gas/ LNG pricing and transportation. Will also monitor GTA's and ensure timely management of contracts.

Finance & Accounts

Officer/ Senior Officer / Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLFA2

  • Qualification: MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience: For the level of Officer 1-2 years, Senior Officer -2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively.

The candidate should have sound domain knowledge and hands on experience in managing corporate finance and accounts function. The desired areas of experience include maintaining books of accounts, accounts finalization, direct and indirect taxation, audits, MIS, tendering, banking, project financing, funds management etc. Exposure to SAP (FI) module is preferable.

HR & Administration

Senior Officer / Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLHRA3

  • Qualification: MBA (HR) / MHRM/ MSW / Post Graduate in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience: For the level of Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively.

The candidates should have hands-on experience in all facets of Human Resource Management preferably in the Energy and Infrastructure Sector. Will be primarily responsible for recruitment, performance management, compensation management, training and development and will be involved in all HR initiatives of the organization. Should be well-conversant with Labour Laws and should have proficiency in IT and adequate exposure and understanding of SAP (HCM) module.

PR & Liaisoning

Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLPRL4

  • Qualification: MBA (Marketing / Mass Communication) / Post graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: For the level of Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy Gneral, Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience. respectively.

The candidate should have long standing exposure in liaisoning with ministries and regulatory authorities at the Central / State government level. The candidate will be required to liaise extensively with key functionaries of the Central / State government as well as PNGRB/MoPNG for Company's business related matters/ issues. Should possess through understanding of the processes involved for facilitating issues of technical relevance with concerned departments and have sound presentation and communication skills.

Information Technology

Officer / Senior Officer / Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLIT5

  • Qualification: B.E. (EC/ Computers / IT)/ MCA / M.S. (EC/ Computers/ IT)
  • Experience: For the level of Officer 1-2 years, Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manger 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively.

The candidate should be instrumental in defining hardware and software requirements for Oil and Gas organizations, should have the ability to manage various vendors for software applications. knowledge in designing IT solutions including servicers and storage systems, storage solutions SAN/ NAS, firewall, security, back up management and data center operations. Should have experience in implementing, managing, administering and troubleshooting of Microsoft Cluster and Windows server.

Technical Servicers

Senior Officer / Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager / General Manager | CODE - PLTS6

  • Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech (Mechanical / IC/ Civil/ Electrical).
  • Experience: For the level of Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manger 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, for the level of Manager and above, minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a pre-requisite.

The candidate should have excellent domain knowledge, particularly of all the relevant codes and specifications as applicable to gas pipelines. Will be required to review, approve technical drawings and will also be required to coordinate with Projects, EPC, PMC, TPI etc. for resolving technical and operational issues. Will be required to evaluate, develop, implement and review alternatives for various specifications of gas grids and pipelines and to co-ordinate and support the internal teams in various technical issues as well as in developing and implementing standard procedures. Cross-country pipeline (Gas) / design engineering professional working with owners / engineering consultancy firms is preferable.

Projects

  • Qualification: BB.E / B.Tech. (Mechanical / IC / Civil / Electrical)
  • Experience: For the level of Officer 1-2 years Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, for the level of Manager and above, minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a pre-requisite.

The candidate should have an experience in Contracts Management of high value / complex Turnkey, EPC, EPCM and major engineering and construction of projects i.e. laying of cross country high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline. Should possess sound understanding of technical aspects, project planning and control, project resource management, project quality control, contract handling and management. Should have an experience of handling multiple subcontractors working at different site locations on the same project. Should have an experience in HSE implementation and should be well conversant with all project management reporting including financial reporting of the project.

Health, Safety and Environment

  • Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech (HSE / Fire)
  • Experience: For the level of Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manger 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manger more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, for the level of Manager and above, minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a pre-requisite.

The candidate would be responsible for implementing Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) initiatives of the Company at all locations. Relevant experience in HSE audits, Job analysis, safety, system development are key requisites. Should be conversant with occupational health and OHSAS 18001-1999 norms and will ensure all statutory compliances. Should have an experience in handling safety on cross-country oil and gas pipelines, working with EPC's, PMC's etc. and ensure zero casualty at site.

Operation & Maintenance

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. (Mechanical/ IC/ Civil / Electrical
  • Experience: For the level of senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 7-9 years, Senior Manager 10-12 years, Assistant General Manager 13-15 years, Deputy General Manager, 16-18 years and General Manager more than 18 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, for the level of Manager and above, minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a pre-requisite.

The candidate should ensure uninterrupted supply of gas on day to day basis by ensuring effective and efficient compliance of all maintenance and ensure proper monitoring. Should facilitate smooth operations and adhere to the highest standards of HSE norms and best practices. Knowledge of SCADA, SAP and QMS is essential. Should have knowledge of codes / standards including PNGRB regulations and all applicable statutory requirements.

Procurement / Inventory Control / Material Management

Officer / Senior Officer / Assistant Manager | CODE - PLPROC10

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. (Mechanical / IC / Civil/ Electrical / Materials Management / Inventory Management)
  • Experience: For the level of Officer 1-2 years, Senior Officer 2-3 years, Assistant Manager 4-6 years of relevant experience, respectively. However, preference would be given to candidates having Oil and Gas experience.

The candidate should have an experience in inventory control, procurement and materials management. Will also be responsible for maintaining material master data, issuance of materials, loading / unloading of goods transported and proper storage of scrap. Will be responsible for overseeing the tender, preparation of the bidding process, tender evaluation, bidder negotiation, awarding the contract and closure of the contract.
