AMDISA (SAARC Recognised Body) invites persons with action centred leadership

The Association of Management Development Institution in South Asia (AMDISA) is an international not-for profit association, and is a "SAARC Recognized Body". The mission of AMDISA is to "Promote Management excellence in South Asia by networking management development institution and facilitating their partnership with corporate enterprises and public agencies in the region."

The key goals of AMDISA in the forthcoming years will involve, taking the lead in creating the environment, networking platforms and partnerships towards excellence in management education in the SAARC nations and continuing to bringing in involvement and participation from institutions.

AMDISA launcher a global benchmark quality assurance and accreditation system for business schools in this part of the world. Called as south asian quality assurance system with acronym as SAQS. One of the key goals will involve creating awareness and acceptance of the SAQS among management institution globally.

Towards playing leadership role in the changes in management education world wide and creating platforms for exchange and excellence. AMDISA invites application for the following leadership positions.

Executive Director
The executive Director will be the chief executive officer of AMDISA.

Applicants must be of age 40 years or above with a PG qualification in management and min. of 20 years in administration or education administration. The position is comparable to that of a professor of the university. The position is accountable to the president and executive board of AMDISA.

The role involves high integrity, energy and interpersonal competence with innovative institution building orientation and skills to manage the secretariat as performance centre. The applicant needs to be well versed in south asian management and governance and be equally informed about business schools and management development centers in the region. Must have the ability to network with funding agencies so as to raise resources for AMDISA and generate appropriate projects for funding and ensuring they are delivered well. The role will also involve liaison with professional management associations in different parts of the world.

Deputy Director
Applicants in the age group of 32 to 45 years with a PG qualification in management and min. 5 years of experience in administration or educational administration or having worked as a assistant professor of B School for min. of 5 years are eligible to apply. The position in analogous to that of an Associate Professor of the University.

The role requires the applicant to have high level of ability to plan and organize conferences/ workshops, excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a flair personality suitable for developing public relations.
