Primary Design, Chennai* (PD 01)
Qualification: BE/ BTech with experience of 3 years in design and engineering of AIS or GIS substations above 110kV level.

• Design calculations, HV equipment specifications
• Switchyard plan, layout, sections, earthing package, cable package, auxiliary systems etc.

Control & Protection Design, Chennai, Bangalore* (CPD 02)
Qualification: BE/ BTech with minimum experience of 3 years in design and engineering of AIS or GIS substations above 110kV level

• Control, metering, synchronizing and interlocking schemes
• Protection schemes, configuration and settings for line, transformer, busbar using numerical relays
• Interface with primary equipment, cable schedules etc.
• Interface experience with bay units/ SCADA/ RTU will be an added advantage

Manager Engineering - Chennai, Bangalore (ME 03)
Qualification: B.E Electrical with minimum 10 years experience in electrical engineering industry of which minimum 2 years as a Manager/ Team Lead

• Medium to long term planning with stakeholders and setting direction for the team
• Coaching and developing the team to drive performance
• Implementing structure to meet the objectives (resources, training, work process, tools, etc.)
• Setting, measuring and improving performance indicators
• People responsibilities (recruitment, appraisal, talent management)
• Cross unit collaboration experience
• Candidates with power systems background would have an added advantage

Design, Engineering & Commissioning - Instrumentation & Control, Bangalore (DECI 04)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech with minimum experience of 3 years and above in design, engineering and commissioning of Distributed Control Systems (DCS/ PLC) for power plants and industrial process plants.

• Knowledge in process engineering of power plants including boiler control, turbine control, field instrumentation, KKS System, MMI and network engineering is preferred
• Willingness to travel to local and overseas sites

Design & Engineering - Plant Electrical, Chennai, Bangalore and Faridabad* (DEPE 05)
Qualification: BE/ BTech with minimum experience of 3 years and above in design and engineering of complete electrical system for eBoP in power plants (thermal/ hydro) or electrification of process plants/ pumping stations

• Should have application knowledge of HV, MV & LV transformers, switchgear, cables, bus ducts and other associated items and equipment
• Experience in preparation of plant layout, cable routing, earthing and cable sizing calculation

Installation & Commissioning - Plant Electrical, Chennai* (ICPE 06)
Qualification: B.E with minimum experience of 3 years and above in installation and commissioning for eBoP in power plants (thermal/ hydro) or electrification of process plants/ pumping stations

• Knowledge on installation and commissioning of HV, MV & LV transformers, switchgear, cables and other associated items and equipment
• Willingness to travel to overseas sites

Software Development Engineers, Bangalore (SDE 07)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech with minimum experience of 3 years and above in software development experience in C++, Java, .Net both for GUI and server side

• For select positions, experience in developing user interfaces is required
• Experience in developing for SCADA or energy/ distribution management systems is an advantage
• For select positions, middleware experience (especially open source) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of COBOL is useful for some positions

Software Testing Engineers & Software Analysts, Bangalore (STESA 08)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech with a maximum of 4 years in software manual testing

• For select positions, programming knowledge C++, Java, VC++ is required and knowledge in functional definition and unit testing of J2EE compliant SOA components
• Knowledge of SCADA programming is an added advantage

Software Architects & Sr. Software Developers, Bangalore/ Chennai (SASSD 09)
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech with relevant experience of system architect position and development position

• Strong Java, AJAX skills. Database, XML and UNIX knowledge is beneficial
• For some positions, basic knowledge of COBOL is beneficial

Product Development Manager, Bangalore/ Chennai (PDE 10)
Qualification: Masters with 15 years overall experience with minimum of 3 years in managing development of large enterprise software products. Experience of working outside India is an added advantage

• Responsible for the product development team of around 50 development and QA engineers
• Objective is to guide the team in creating highly maintainable software code that is delivered on time, on budget and with high quality
• Overall responsibility for the development and QA activities taking place for product development within the unit
• Set, measure and improve performance indicators for the team

Power Electronics, Chennai (PE 11)
Qualification: Masters or Doctorate in power electronics with experience of 5 years or more

• Experience in modeling, analysis and design of power electronics converters for high current applications, converter control techniques
• Preferably understanding on application of power electronics in HV/ EHV system (e.g. HVDC & FACTS devices)
• Hands-on experience in using power system simulation tools such as EMTDC, PSCAD, Matlab

HV Cable Design, Chennai (HVCD 12)
Qualification: ME in Electrical or Masters in Physics with experience in electrical, thermal design aspects of high voltage cables-(110KV and above)

• Experience in modeling and simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics (Minimum of 2 years), MATLAB

System Design, Chennai (SD 13)
Qualification: Masters or Doctorate in power systems with experience of 5 years or more

• Knowledge in various power system studies like load flow, short circuit, transient stability, switching studies
• Preferably understanding on application of power electronics in HV/ EHV system (e.g. HVDC & FACTS devices)
• Hands-on experience in using power system simulation tools such as EMTDC, PSCAD, PSS/ E, Digsilent, Matlab, RSCAD etc.

• (For all positions marked) Diploma candidates with higher experience level would also be acceptable
