Music Teacher - Primary School
We are seeking to employ a music specialist for students across the 4-11 age range. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the music programme across the school and for delivering the curriculum to all classes. The ability to sing and play an instrument, preferably the piano, are pre-requisite. In addition, she will coordinate a number of events each year which enable the students to demonstrate their musical skills. The establishment of a school choir and a school music group are an important element of the role. Liaison with the music department in the secondary school to ensure progression and continuity in children's learning is also an important expectation. The incumbent will have a degree in music with atleast 7-8 years of teaching experience.

Music Teacher - Secondary School
We are seeking to employ a music specialist for students across the 11-18 age range. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the music programme across the school and for delivering the curriculum to all classes. The ability to sing and play an instrument, preferably the piano, and a sound background in western classical music are pre-requisite. Experience in teaching IB Music is desired. In addition, she will coordinate, lead and support a number of events through the year which enable students to demonstrate their musical skills. The establishment of a school choir and a school orchestra are an important element of the role. Liaison with other curriculum areas in the secondary school and the music department in the primary school to ensure progression and continuity in children's learning is also an important expectation. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in teaching music along with a degree in music.

Teaching Assistant
We are seeking to employ a trained teacher as Teaching Assistant for students of the age range of 5-11 years. Teaching Assistants are additional supporting adults who work alongside teachers in the classroom and beyond, helping students and teaches to make better progress and to raise students' standard of achievement. The Teaching Assistant should have the capability to develop into a fully competent teacher at the British School. The ideal candidate will have an experience of 6 months to a year in teaching early years.
