Sterlite Industries (India) Limited, the operating company of Vedanta in copper business in India is the first private sector company to set up a copper smelter and refinery in India and operates one of the largest continuous cast copper rod plant. Sterlite's copper operation include a 400,000 tonnes per annum smelter, refinery, sulphuric and phosphoric acid plants and copper rod plant at Tuticorin in Southern India, a refinery and two copper rod plants at Silvassa in Western India, and a 100% owned subsidiary cooper mine in Australia.

With this backdrop, Vedanta would like to invite candidature for the following positions for the copper plant at Tuticorin.

Head Corporate Affairs (Ref. Code: LCA)
A leadership level position, the candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's overall strategic public relation program including media relation, community relation internal communication and investor relation. He/She should have worked in a similar capacity with any leading industry or should have served in a senior position in the Civil Services/ Armed forces/ Government Services. The ideal candidate should be well versed in the local language

Head Safety (Ref. Code: LSFT)
The ideal candidate will be leading the Safety team and will oversee safety compliances by employees and contractors, risk assessment, facilitate training to staff, developing and implementing risk control systems The candidate should be a B.E/ M.E in industrial Safety or Engineering degree with Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI with an experience of 5-8 years. The position is required to comply with the safety norms and improve the safety standards of the organization.

Industrial Hygienist HSE (Ref. Code: LIHY)
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene/ relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in an Industrial Hygiene engineer role. He/she should have a good Knowledge of chemical, physical and safety processes. He/she will be responsible for timely recognizing, evaluating and controlling of industrial Hygiene risk factors or stress arising in or from the workplace

Manager/ Associate Manager Refractory (Ref Code: LRFR)
The candidate should be a B.E. in Ceramic or equivalent degree and should have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in designing and application of refractory in ferrous or non-ferrous industry He/ she should have demonstrated leadership skills and should he capable of leading a team.
