A UN organization invites applications for engagement of consultants on contractual basis in Orissa from qualified and experienced candidates to provide support and strengthen the implementation of child development and nutrition programmes related to improving infant and young child nutrition, reducing childhood (Vit. A, Iodine, Iron), management of severe and acute malnutrition, positive deviance program for accelerating reduction in under nutrition and improving MIS systems of various flagships.

The suitable candidate must possess a post graduate degree/ diploma in Rural Development/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Nutrition/ Child Development/ Social Work/ Bio technology / Agriculture or MBBS with a minimum 4-6 years of experience in implementing programs related to Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition. Familiarity with the national flagship programmes (NRHM, ICDS and others), and experience of working with Government is an asset. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
