The company is looking for professional business development managers with experience in the field to develop business in African Markets West / East / Central / North.

Base location for job can be at any place: India/ UAE/ Tanzania/ Nigeria / Kenya / Cameroon.

Position Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in the food industry in African markets as business development or in sales and marketing field
• Handling / Appointing importers / distributors
• Well-versed in brand development & marketing plans with implementation and execution of trade and consumer related activities such as promotions, launches, re-launches
• Go-getter, creative, strategic thinker, self-motivated with proven experience & successful record in developing strategic sales and marketing initiatives in order to meet objectives and goals across the segments.
• Gather market intelligence, provide analysis and interpretation to formulate strategy and plans; target key opportunities and tailor value propositions to establish & differentiate with sustainable advantage. Develop & update the territory coverage plan. Compilation/ dissemination of market trend data/ reports from field visits.
• Must be able to demonstrate with confidence sales and marketing plans, commercial planning & budgeting grids
• Ideal candidate should be a graduate (preferably with an MBA)
• Proficiency in French language (read, write and speak) will be an added advantage.
