Plan India is part of Plan International and is a child - centered National development organization that aims to promote Child Rights and improve the quality of life of vulnerable children. The basis of Plan's work lies in its commitment to the principle of equality and rights, developing the capacity of civil society to enable them to meet their needs and replicating successful models that have worked. We are looking for an experienced Senior Brand & Communications Manager to lead the development and implementation of a brand and communications strategy and to increase brand awareness by ensuring effective internal and external communications reflecting Plan India's agreed brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the development and implementation of the brand management strategy, Oversee communications strategy development and resources, including public relations and media, advocacy communications, publications and program communications and online communications, Oversee the development and implementation of a Program Communications strategy to proactively communicate Plan's program work and learning's within Plan India and our partners, Plan globally and the development sector in India and the wider Asian region, Ensure the development and implementation of an online engagement strategy aligned to brand, marketing and communications objectives, Lead the Brand and Communications Unit and actively participate in the overall management of the department and organization.
Key Skills / Attributes: Post Graduate Qualifications from a reputed institute with major in Brand Management, Mass Communication or Journalism, advertising or public relations preferably with social causes / backgrounds or organizations, High level of creativity, ability to think laterally, intuitive in approach, able to develop productive and innovative work processes, Excellent and fluent written, oral and presentation / communication skills in English and preferably at least two local languages, General management skills, interpersonal skills, prove experience in leading and developing a team, Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
