Power System Software Development Company with US client base seeks: Software Engineers

Strands Energy Pvt. Ltd. located in Kochi, India, is seeking Engineers with excellent C++ programming and power system software & controls development experience.

Responsibilities include designing, developing and testing distributed control systems for power system applications, providing power system modeling and simulation support, and product development and testing. The software development will be done in Kochi in close co-ordination with primary customer in USA.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with emphasis on power systems, Advanced degrees a plus.

Required:

• Excellent C++, Java Programming skills
• Familiarity with basics of electric power systems
• Control systems development experience
• Ability to work with multi-national development team
• Excellent communication and writing skills

Desired:

• Websphere Tm development experience
• Control systems developments applications such as automation, motion control, engines, or power control
• Distributed control architectures and real time controls
• SCADA systems and RTUs
• Communications and field protocols
• Software product development and release experience

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
