Walk-in-Interview

CIFT is a pioneer institute in the country for harvest and post harvest technology in fisheries. It has several projects currently under its wing. The Institute is in need of dynamic and enthusiastic personnel for the following posts under the NAIP sub projects, on temporary basis. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for the walk in interview, on the day shown against each category, for one or more posts. A Business Planning and Development (BPO) is being set up at CIFT, which would provide a wide range of value added business services for entrepreneurs like incubation, technology support, business planning, and pilot production, as well as guidance on recruitment, marketing, legal, IPR and financial issues. CIFT is looking for a dynamic Business Manager to setup and run the BPD in a sustainable manner.

MBA/Two year PG Diploma in Management/ Agribusiness from reputed Business Schools/ Institutions
  1. Minimum 1 year of post qualification experience
  2. Experience in Marketing of technologies; Setting up of knowledge based enterprises; Project management; Mobilization of venture capital.
  • Developing business plans for technology commercialization; Entrepreneurial development, Market analysis, HRD.
  • Devising innovative marketing strategies and managing value added business support services.
CIFT is looking for self-motivated and dynamic Research Associates to take up challenging careers in the emerging field of business incubation and technology management under its Zonal Technology Management and BPO initiative.

Masters Degree in Fisheries / Agriculture/ Food Technology/ Management/ Mechanical Engineering with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA with at least 2 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associate ship / Training/ Other engagements.
  1. Experience in the field of project management; Technology transfer; HRD; Production; Marketing; IPR

  3. Excellent computer, documentation and analytical skills
  • Management of IPRs

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates as Senior Research Fellows, to join a challenging project that is aimed at crating a value-chain business model in the small pelagics and fresheater fisheries sector involving production, processing and marketing for the scoio-economic upliftment of the fisher folk in the respective sectors.
