The Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Santoshanagar, Saidabad, Hyderabad 500 059 invites applications for the following temporary positions for a period of one year (upto 31st March 2010) in research projects through a Walk-in-interview on 26.03.2009 at 10.30 hrs. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

1. Senior Research Fellow (1 post in RSAD Project): Post Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture / Forestry / Botany. The remuneration is Rs. 8,000/- p.m. + HRA Experience in (i) rural areas or plantations and computer knowledge (ii) Compulsory stay in Anantapur District for on-farm research.

2. Project Assistant (1 Post in CSIR Project): Post Graduate in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Botany. The remuneration is Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (consolidated). Experience in field trails and computer knowledge. Position is in Hyderabad.

3. Skilled Assistants (2 posts in RSAD Project - one each in Anantapur and Mahaboobnagar districts): B.Sc. (Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture) with computer proficiency. Experience in (i) computer proficiency and (ii) Compulsory stay in Anantapur district and Mahaboobnagar district for on-farm research. The remuneration is Rs. 6,000/- pm consolidated.
