Galfar with its associate companies is operating in 4 Countries having a staff strength of 25,000 and has drawn up significant expansion plans for taking up EPC Projects.
To achieve these objectives an Engineering Division is being established to cater to EPC projects in various fields such as oil & gas, power, pipeline, Infrastructure, etc.
Applications are invited for senior positions as the head of department of various process and engineering disciplines as detailed out.
The candidate should have experience in working with a Design / Engineering / Consultancy organization of repute. The prospective heads of departments of various disciplines should be a self starter, having entrepreneurial skills and an analytical approach to problem solving. Should be capable of developing and leading a team of engineers in project estimation, overseeing the project engineering quality and to providing detail engineering support.
The candidate should be having around 20 years experience in a responsible position and should have decision making capabilities so as to handle the responsibilities independently.
Adequate knowledge of Various Relevant Software used in Respective Disciplines is essential.
Process (EPC/T-01)
Development of Conceptual and Detailed Design for Projects such as Basic Engg Documents, PFD's, P & ID's, RFQ, Hydraulic System Design, Control Philosophy, Unit & Line Sizing, Datasheets, Safeguarding Scheme. HAQOP, SIL, safety design, area classification, etc.
Piping (EPC/T-02)
Development and Preparation of Layout's, Plot Plans, Equipment Lists, Datasheets, MTO's, Material Classifications, GAD's / Isometric and to carry out Design Calculation, Stress Analysis and 3-D Modeling. The department shall also assist in risk assessment, HAZOP Studies and Construct ability Review.
Civil & Structural (EPC/T-03)
Development and Detailed Engineering of Foundation, Building and Structural Works related to a Process Plant including Load Design Drawings for Foundations (RCC and Steel Structures). Should be exposed to Civil related Utility Designs such as Roads, Culverts, Drainage and other Underground works.
Knowledge of Geotechnical and Soil Investigation Design and Analysis would be an added advantage.
Packaged Equipment (EPC/T-04)
Design and engineering of various mechanical equipment and packages for a Process Industry such as Centrifuges, Dryers, Process Refrigeration, Boiler System, Air Separation, Plants, etc. Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Static Equipment (EPC/T-05)
Development of specifications and detailed engineering of various Chemical Equipment such as Columns, Reactor, Vessels, Filters, Condensers, Separators, Exchangers, Mixers, Tankages.
Rotary Equipment (EPC/T-06)
Development of specifications and detailed engineering of Rotary Equipment such as Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, etc.
Electrical (EPC/T-07)
Design and detail engineering of Electrical Power Systems, Power Transmission and Distribution, Grid Paralleling, Switch Yards / Substations, Electrical Control and Monitoring System, Power Management System.
Instrumentation (EPC/T-08)
Design and detailed engineering of instrumentation and control system finalize specifications for the project.
Preparation of DCS and ESD specification, material requests, installation and control system drawings.
Business Development (EPC/T-09)
To develop a global perspective of EPC business in GCC countries such as Libya, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, etc. To facilitate process of prequalification and bidding on the basis of through knowledge of the competitors, risk, etc. Experience in formulating contracts and tie-up's for prospective alliances.
Planning (EPC/T-10)
To Develop Project Execution Master Plan, schedules for various departments, including resources planning / optimization and to issue various Management Control Reports with a view to steer the project by effectively implementing a Project Control and Monitoring System.
Cost Engineer (EPC/T-11)
Well versed in preparation of costs estimates of process plant in Oil & Gas sector, Pipelines etc., should be in a position to develop commercial comparative analysis and exposed to latest cost management techniques.
