Central to our growth is the development of the Airbus Engineering Centre India in Bangalore. This design office, which started its operations in April 2007, focuses on the development of advanced capabilities in the areas of Modelling & Simulation as well as in applications on Airbus products, closely co-operating with other Airbus Engineering offices world wide as well as with the Indian aviation industry.

In the frame of the further development of the Centre, we are recruiting additional engineers to fill positions in the following Domains and skill-sets:

FMS Simulation Tools Development
Responsibility: Develop simulation tools for Flight Management System.

Domain expertise required: Systems/ Avionics Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, Scientific computer engineering. Software architecture/ development.

Technology expertise required: FMS, relevant avionics protocols, simulation environment for embedded systems, knowledge of Rhapsody, Matlab, Visual Studio, Eclipse for Java, modeling & test tools, programming languages (UML, C++, Visual C++, Java. RMI, Matlab, XML).
Experience: 1 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Aircraft Systems Simulation Development
Responsibility: Specify, develop and validate real time simulation models of Airbus products. Ensure delivery of models ready for hardware integration on simulator and maintenance activities.

Domain expertise required: Systems/ Avionics Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, Aircraft Systems, Software development.

Technology expertise required: good knowledge of Aircraft systems (energy, avionics, flight controls...), simulation environment for embedded systems, real time systems modeling and testing skills. Knowledge of Matlab Simulink, Scade, avionics protocols (AFDX, ARINC 429), programming languages (C, JAVA), Unix/ Windows/ Linux environment.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Simulation Software Framework Development
Responsibility: Develop software framework dedicated to simulation activities of Airbus products.

Domain expertise required: Computer Sciences Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, Software architecture/ development.

Technology expertise required: expertise in S/W architecture and development process, configuration management, modeling tools (Matlab Simulink), parsing technics, IP network development, PCAP. Knowledge of Eclipse RCP, Java, SWT, Swing, open-GL, C++, C, Perl, XML, Corba, UML

Digital Mock Up Tools Development
Responsibility: Develop CAD/ Simulation interface tools in the aircraft Digital Mock Up for supporting Engineering studies.

Domain expertise required: Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, Software architecture/ concepts, PDM/PLM concepts.

Technology expertise required: strong expertise in CATIAV5, CAA for CATIA, DMU, CAD/CAE link object-oriented language (C++). Exposure to electrical harness module in CATIA V5 will be an added value.

Experience: 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Aerodynamics Analysis
Responsibility: Consistently improve the aircraft Aerodynamics knowledge, by applying leading edge numerical tools and methodologies in order to deliver aerodynamic data for Airbus aircrafts.

Domain expertise required: Aeronautical Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, numerical analysis, scientific software engineering.

Technology expertise required: Specific qualifications in Aerodynamics (aircraft aerodynamic behavior, modeling, testing), knowledge of CFD tools, scientific scripting (Python, Octave/Matlab).

Experience: 1 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Geometry Analysis
Responsibility: Develop CFD-ready first class parametric component design and assembly capability for Aerodynamic design of airbus products.

Domain expertise required: CAD mathematics, lofting, aerodynamic design basics, numerical optimization, scientific software engineering.

Technology expertise required: Aerodynamics design basic background, good level of CATIA V5/IcemSufrf/ISD surfacing/lofting as well as Catia templates and PowerCopies, good CAA/ C++/ Python knowledge.

Leads Analysis
Responsibility: Integrate loads methodologies of legacy Airbus products into new common loads analysis framework, and build a load capability for supporting on-going legacy A/C developments.

Domain expertise required: Aeronautical Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, numerical analysis, scientific computer engineering.

Technology expertise required: Structural dynamics background with a good understanding of loads in the Aircraft design process (Aerodynamic design, control theory through structural sizing), loads methodology & certification processes, basic Python/ C++/ C/ Fortran knowledge.

Methods & Tools Framework Integration
Responsibility: Participate to the development of Airbus Flight Physics simulation framework, and support local tools integration.

Domain expertise required: Numerical analysis, scientific software engineering.

Technology expertise required: experience of numerical simulation in grid or HPC environment, good Python/ C++/ C/ Fortran knowledge, basic understanding and interest for popular scientific (MPI, NetCDF, Matlab..) and core IT technologies (SQL, XML, SOAP...), some knowledge of Oracle enterprise architecture is a bonus.

Lofting & Master Geometry Management
Responsibility: Define and manage lofting and master geometry for the different sections of serial Airbus products and aircraft in development.

Domain expertise required: Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineer, structure design, lofting.

Technology expertise required: Structure/ Lofting design, configuration management, manufacturing. Good level in CATIA V5/ Primes and CAD/PDM.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Structural Stress Analysis & CAE Tools Development
Responsibility: Perform structural analysis of Airbus components by applying advanced numerical methods. Develop a 3D test-CAE Environment.

Domain expertise required: Aeronautical/ Structural Mechanics Engineer preferably with a Masters Degree, scientific computer engineering.

Technology expertise required: structural mechanics from basic linear elasto-static to non-linear static, Finite Elements modeling rules, structural test methods, testing methodology, mechanical behavior of metallic & composite materials, hands-on experience of Hypermesh (or ANSA) and of ABAQUS Std v.6.7, programming with Fortran, Python scripting, Abaqus CAE programmable interface. Knowledge of CATIA V5 will be of added value.

Experience: 3 to 12 years of relevant professional experience.
