Reader: Geology - 1 (UR), Public Administration - 2 (1 UR, 1SC), Electronics Engineering - 1 (UR).

Lecturer (PG): Forestry -1 (UR), Geography, Tribal Culture & Resource Mgt. - 1 (UR), Public Administration - 1 (UR), Physics - 1 (UR), Planning & Architecture - 1 (UR).

Lecturer (UG) (Pachhunga Univ. College): Commerce - 1 (UR), English - 1 (SC)*, Psychology - 1 (SC)* Statistics - 1 (SC).

Last date of receipt of complete application forms with prescribed fee is 14.08.2008. For applications from outside Northeast region, the last date is 29.08.2008. Reservation of posts is as per Govt. of India norms.

Qualifications and pay scales for the advertised posts are the same as prescribed by the UGC. However, for posts in Engineering stream, AICTE norms shall be applicable.

Numbers in the Parenthesis indicate the vacancies available. SC = Scheduled Caste, OBC = Other Backward Caste, UR = Unreserved.

Posts against parenthesis with asterisks indicate that applications are invited from both SC & ST candidates and such candidates will be considered only in the event of non-availability of suitable candidates of the respective SC community.
