Senior Technical Support Engineer
Demonstrated track record of successful full life cycle IT infrastructure development and implementation skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively with key users as well as end-users.
Key role responsibilities will include:
- Plan, design, install and support IT Infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, hubs, PC's and network printers in accordance with guidelines as provided and as necessary for systems deployment.
- Install, configure and support systems software including Operating Systems, Databases (SQL etc). Terminal servers, Data storage servers. E-mail servers. Web servers and any other application servers that might be required.
- Plan, design, install and support network security infrastructure such as firewalls, anti-virus, ant-spam and anti-spy ware in line with industry standards and company guidelines.
Applicants should have:
- Computer Science/ Engineering degree from a reputed
- MCSE and CCAN certification.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience (Microsoft, Symantec and CISCO based infrastructure).
- Knowledge of IBM iSeries/AS400 technical and/or operations environment will be an added advantage.
