Post - Doctoral Scientist Agricultural Economics: PhD in Agricultural Economics/ social science with over one year experience in production, development or resource economics, and the capacity to translate the findings of applied research into policy recommendations. To undertake applied economics and related social science research in relation to understanding climate dependent challenges and opportunities that confront small-holder farmers in the semi-arid tropics, in collaboration with a team of biophysical scientists.

Administrative Officer: Post Graduate, preferably MBA, with 5-8 relevant experience. Efficiently manage the office of one of the Directors. Provide administrative and executive secretarial support, handling and monitoring staff work plans, ouputs and budgets etc.

Research Associate (2 positions) for International Livestock Research Institute: 1) MSc/ MVSc in animal science/ animal nutrition/ livestock management with two years relevant experience. Supervision and execution of feed evaluation and feed evaluation and feed processing work and of livestock productivity trails, on-farm and on-station. Farmer participatory research and development activities related to the use of sweet sorghum bagasse as livestock feed, analysis of experimental data and assist in preparation of report and papers.

2 Graduate in Animal/ Veterinary Science and M Sc in animal/ livestock related subject with minimum two years experience in livestock research/ development. To implement a program of applied research to improve productivity of livestock systems, with an initial focus on piggery. This will involve establishment and monitoring of programs on livestock breeding, feeding and the marketing of livestock.

Scientific Officer (2 positions) and Communication officer for World Wide Fund for Nature: Scientific Officer: Post Graduates in economics, agriculture, sciences, or management with minimum 5 years experience working in Government or non-Government sector. To work on a water productivity project. Record of managing projects related to rural development, watershed management; aptitude to work in the field with people:

Communication Officer: Graduates in a Mass Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations with 5-6 years experience, or Post Graduates with 2-3 years experience and with established credentials in the field of communications particularly working on rural development issues.
