Jindal Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSPL is implementing a coal based 1000 MW OP Jindal Super Thermal Power Plant near Tamnar in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. This project has been accorded the first Mega power status by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, in private sector. JSPL has won the development rights (or 20 billion tonnes of iron ore reserves in Bolivia (South America). The company is planning to invest US $ 2.1 billion over next 8 years for mining and setting up an integrated steel plant in Bolivia.

JSPL invites application from young, dynamic, talented and result -oriented engineers for the position of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) for front line executive positions in its mines/ plants/ projects. Salary & perquisites are at par with best Industry standards.

Eligibility:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/ M. Tech in Engineering in any of the following Disciplines: (i) Mechanical (ii) Metallurgy (iii) Instrumentation & Control (iv) Mining (v) Civil (vi) Electrical from a recognized & reputed University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks throughout in academics.
• Age: Graduate Engineers born on and after Jan 01, 1983 or those who are in their final year can apply. For M.Tech Student, who are born on and after Jan 01, 1981 are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates having NPTI degree will be given due weightage for Power Projects.

Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (Abilities test + Domain test), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Written test will be conducted Online across 8 centres: Bombay, Lolkata, Chennai, Belhi/ NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore & Chandigarh and Offline across 3 centres: Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, Raipur.
