About you

We're looking for someone who aspires to design web applications as good as Basecamp, Facebook or Gmail. A lead web designer who can assess needs of users and design compelling solutions to their problems. You'll be familiar with heuristic evaluations, web standards and Web 2.0 technologies. You'll have read books by jakob Nielsen, Robert Hoekman and Eric Meyer amongst others and admire work by 37signals. You'll also be:

• A creative thinker and a problem solver with a passion for design, artistic flair, excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable about global cultures and trends in different markets.
• Experienced (5+ years) in designing and coding cross-browser compatible, atandard compliant, ecommerce websites, preferably for blue-chip brands and global audiences.
• A graduate in web design or related discipline.
• Outstanding in written and spoken English with excellent presentation and collaborative skills.
• Able to demonstrate you ability with a strong online portfolio which includes a range of URLs or your best work.
