Raw Materials
Seeking a senior leader as Vice - President - Raw Materials to ensure long term sustainable supply of wood and bamboo for our paper mills across India.
Key member of the senior management team. Responsibilities include:
Long term planning and forecasting of wood & bamboo supply; develop geographically spread supply sources; provide cost effective solutions.
Establish and maintain quality standards & timely supply of raw materials.
Develop annual raw materials procurement plan; negotiate government tenders, contracts with private parties for raw material supply; formulate policies, procedures for suppliers; negotiate prices; schedule procurements.
Lead supply chain process; formulate inventory planning process; mange inventory; build efficiencies to manage costs.
Coordinate with Government bodies (Central & State); rigorously follow environment & forest guidelines; liaise with Railways, agricultural marketing committees, forest development corporations, etc.
Masters in forestry or MBA, with over 15 years' experience in raw materials function are desirable. Candidates with experience in Forestry or in Forest Services will find the role very exciting. We offer a very competitive Compensations & Benefits package.
