1. Research Officer: 1 Post (No. of post may be increased to 2)

1. Age limit: Below 40 years There is no age limit in case of employees of the Institute.
2. Qualification: Atleast 2nd class Post Graduate degree in Social Science such as Sociology/ Social Work/ Economics/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Statistics/ Demography/ Population Studies etc. Ph.D. or published work of equivalent standard in the subject. Computer knowledge is necessary.
3. Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in teaching/ research in Population Studies/ Demography/ conducting of Socio-economic/ Demographic surveys desirable.
4. Scale of Pay: Rs. 8000-275-13500

2. Field Investigator: 1 Post

3. Computer: l Post

1. Age limit: Between 23 years to 33 years
2. Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Social Science such as Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Economics/ Statistics/ Demography/ Population Studies etc. Computer knowledge is necessary
3. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in Research Data Collection/ analysis.
4. Scale of Pay: Rs. 3850-100-4450-125-5700-150-7050

4. Research Fellows: 2 Posts (Temporary) till 31st March, 2008 likely to be extended

1. Age limit: Between 23 years to 33 years
2. Qualification: Ph.D. in Social Science such as Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology Anthropology/ Statistics/ Economics/ Demography/ Population Studies etc Computer knowledge is necessary
3. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in teaching/ research.
4. Scale of Pay: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10,000/- P.M.
