Hardware(7+ years of experience)
FPGA Development
Design and development of high density complex FPGAs, or ASIC Front end, for telecom and networking technologies. Strong skills in digital logic design, with RTL coding and verification using VHDL and/ or Verilog

Knowledge of Xilinx/ Altera FPGA device architecture. Design Flow using Simplicity and Modelsim is a plus

Electronic Board Design
Design and development of high speed digital boards/ systems based on telecom and networking technologies using specialty ASICs e.g. Framers/ Mappers/ MACs/ Network Processors etc., high performance microcontrollers e.g. Motorola Power PC/ QUICC, high speed memories e.g. DDR-1/2, RLDRAM-II, and high density Xilinx/ Altera FPGAs etc.
Hands-on experience using test equipment e.g. Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Smartbits, Omniber, etc. for design verification

PCB Design
In-depth knowledge and experience of PCB designs incorporating High Speed Digital, Analog and RF circuitry, Matched Length and controlled impedance, differential pairs, fine pitch parts including BGA's on 12-28 layer boards, including library creation
Experience in EDA tools including Cadence Allegro, PADS Power PCB and CAM350

NMS/ EMS Development (3+ years of experience)
NMS/ EMS experience with proficiency in Java, J2EE or CORBA, SNMP/ TL1, SONET, DWDM and Ethernet.

Embedded Software Development (5+ years of experience)
Embedded Application Software Development with C and/ or C++ on RTOS like VxWorks, pSOS, embedded Linux, Tornado IDE with experience on any of the following skills:

• Gigabit Ethernet, DSLAM, xDSL, ATM, T1/ E1, Voice (GR 303, TR 08, V 5.2), SIP, L2, L3
• OTN, DWDM, SDH/ SONET or SAN protocols
• IP/ MPLS (RSVP-TE, OSPF-TE, LDP, Martini, PWE3)
• Protocols (TCP/ IP, Routing, Control Plane, FTP, ARP, MS-Spring, UPSR, SNCP)
• Network Management Interfaces (TL1, SNMP, HTTP, XML, CLI), OAM&P, FCAPS, Performance Monitoring, Alarms, Faults
• Embedded Application Software Development BSP, DSP, Device Drivers, FPGA Interfaces, Network Processors
• Firmware development experience on various processors by Motorola, TI and Intel

System Validation Test/ Integration & Test Engineers (3+ years of experience)
System Level testing (including test plan definition, execution and reporting) of products with any of the following technologies:

• MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS, IP Routing
• SDH/ SONET, DWDM, OTN, SAN, Optical Cross-Connect (OXC), Gigabit Ethernet, IP, L2, L3
• NMS/ EMS testing with TL1, SNMP, CORBA, TMF-814, Java/ J2EE exposure to test tools like SmartBits/ Adtech, IXIA, QTP/ Silktest, Omniber, Firebart. Scripting languages like TCL/ TK, Expect, Perl, Java
