Ipas, a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA, working to increase women's ability to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights and reduce unsafe abortion-related maternal mortality and morbidity, wishes to hire senior professionals for its India Country Program. Both the positions are based in New Delhi.
Behavior Change Communication Advisor
Reference: BCCA-IPAS, 1 Vacancy;
Reporting to the Country Director, the BCC Advisor will be responsible for leading the Communication Interventions of the program. The key responsibilities will include developing behavior change communication strategies for the program and implementing the annual communication plans. S/he will be responsible for designing, pre-testing and producing communication materials and packages for different audiences. The incumbent will also identify, formalize and manage relationships with external organizations like media and creative agencies, local NGOs with strong community based programs, and agencies providing mid-media communication services.
Eligibility: Applicants should possess demonstrated leadership and technical skills in BCC and should have a Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing or Advertising, with minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in managing and implementing large multi-media communication interventions and handling mid-media and community based communication interventions. Working knowledge or understanding of social/ development sector is desirable and experience in reproductive health would be an advantage.
Manager Finance

Reporting to the Country Director, the Manager Finance is responsible for the overall financial reporting and fiscal management of the Country Office. The key responsibilities will include planning, organizing, directing and controlling all activities related to finance. S/he shall be responsible for meeting the financial reporting requirements to head office and donors. S/he shall assist the Country Director and the Country team in the development of strategic plans and budgets. S/he will be responsible to ensure that the statutory and legal obligations are complied with and for preparing and conducting the annual audit.
Eligibility: Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline with minimum 5-8 years experience as accounting manager, auditor or fiscal administrator for public or private entities. Chartered Accountants would be preferred. Knowledge of fund accounting and regulations for non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
Incumbents must have strong communication, presentation and analytical skills, ability to work in teams and in diverse environment with strong computer skills. They should be willing to travel when needed and have strong fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages wilt be a plus.
