We have an immediate requirement for an engineering manager in our languages, tools and platforms practice. The engineering manager will use his/her domain expertise, supervision and leadership skills to consistently deliver world-class software development services in the areas of software and hardware design tool development.

Responsibilities include interacting with senior managers to understand quarterly goals and requirements, translating goals into quarterly capacity plans, working with project leads for creating project plans, supervising project execution - taking timely corrective action when required, sending useful status reports to customers, consistently delivering results meeting all quality, time, functional and compliance requirements. Position requires some local and international travel.

Desirable Qualification: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors or Masters preferably in Electronics or Computer Science, an MBA or PMI qualification, knowledge of ISO 9001, CMM and CMMI,

Desirable Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing teams of 10-20 engineers in an offshore development environment, and 3-5 years of experience working as a senior engineer leading and completing projects in system software areas like compilers, debuggers, simulators, BSPs, device drivers, emulators, embedded and real-time operating systems for large semiconductor clients.
Location: Visakhapatnam (Vizag), India.
