The India Development Center of Synplicity, located at ITPL-Bangalore, is involved in all aspects of Software Product Development, testing and providing worldwide customer support. The team members interact regularly with our Sunnyvale, California centre in USA. We are in the process of expanding our Bangalore centre and invite EDA professionals to be part of theis expansion. Exciting opportunities are available in the following areas.

1. Tech Lead (EDA Software Development) (Reference: TL)
   Provide technical leadership for activities in product development which involves feature enhancements, QoR improvement and support. Looking for CS or EE graduates / post-graduates with at least 5 years of experience in the EDA software development and expertise in C/C++, complex data structures and algorithms. Experience in logic / physical synthesis, timing analysis and place & route would be a big plus.

2. Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer (Reference: SE)
   Be a member of team involved in the feature development, QoR improvement for various Synplicity products. Looking for CS or EE graduates / post-graduates with at least 2 years of EDA software development experience in C/C++, complex data structures and algorithms. Prior exposure to synthesis, timing analysis and place & route tools would be a big plus.

3. GUI Test Engineer (Reference: GUI)
   As part of FPGA team, you will test the existing UI according to current industrial standards, simplify the testing process using software tools like Winrunner and create automated testing processes.

   You will be an engineering graduate / MCA with about 2-3 years experience in testing GUI on multiple platforms with good knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, TcL, and Unix scripting. Ability to use Winrunner for automating UI test process will be an advantage.

4. Member / Senior Member - Technical Staff FPGA product team (Reference: MTSFPGA)
   Being a part of our FPGA product team, you would create product specifications & verify them form our customers perspective and work as design consultants to help our customers achieve the best results with their existing designs.

   BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electronic Engineering, excellent verbal & written communication, minimum 3 years experience with RTL design, Perl and Unix Shell scripting, synthesis and Formal Verification in an FPGA design flow. Hands-on expertise on EDA tools such as synplify Pro, Amplify, Leonardo spectrum, Precision synthesis, Xilinx XST, Quartus, DC FPGA, Active HDL, Modelsim, NC-sim. Knowledge of architectures of one or more leading FPGAs.

5. Member / Senior Member Technical Staff-RTC Group (Reference: MTSRTC)
   Being a part of the RTC group, you would provide technical support to customers worldwide, solve complex technical problems and take ownership for product benchmarks that will contribute to product sales.

   BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electronic Engineering, excellent verbal & written communication, minimum 3 years experience in FPGA design flows particularly RTL coding (Verilog or VHDL) synthesis and timing analysis, Logic design and / or verification of ASICs or FPGAs. Proven record of having worked on customer issues.

6. Field Application Engineer (Reference: FAE)
   Analyse technical design automation requirements of our customers, present solutions, demonstrate how they address the requirements and provide convincing proof by evaluation, training and bench marking with actual customer designs. BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electronic Engineering with more than 3 years experience in multi-tasking between projects, scripting (Perl & Bash) and reporting (Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel) is required.

   Willingness to travel within the country (50%) plus the ability to work in a variety of customer environments are necessary.
