Applications are invited for the following posts on the Prescribed Form obtainable from the College Office on payment of Rs. 30/- only Cash or Rs. 50/- by Money Order. Application Forms completed in all respect should reach the College Office by 28th February, 2006.

Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-275-13500/- with usual allowances as per rules.

Qualifications

Good academic record with at least 55%(50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who have passed their Master's Degree prior to 19.09. 1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A, B,C,D, E & F at the Master's Degree Level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University

1. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
   1. Candidates who have completed M.Phil. Degree by 31st December, 1993 Or who have obtained Ph.D. Degree by 31st December, 1993 Or who have obtained Ph.D. Degree on or before 31st December, 2002 are exempted from Qualifying NET.If they fail to secure Ph.D. Degree they are no longer exempted from qualifying NET.
   2. Three Percent Reservation is for Blind and Orthopaedically Handicapped categories. However, the prescribed qualifications are in no way relaxed for these categories.
   3. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG Level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by the UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989 when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%.
   4. For Lecturers in Foods & Nutrition: Specialization in Basic and Advanced Nutrition, Therapeutic Nutrition, Nutritional Research/Bichemistry/Public Health Nutrition, Food Science.
   5. For Lecturer in Community Resource Management & Extension: Specialization in Interior Design/Resource Management/Consumer Studies/Gender Issues/Communication and Extension.
   6. For Lecturer in Architecture and Interior Design: PG Architecture/PG Diploma in Interiors and experience in Spatical Planning and Product Design.
   7. For Lecturer in Development Communication/Mass Communication: MA Mass Communication/Ph.D. With experience in Modern Technology based media production for Social Charge and Exposure to development sector realities/Grass-root initiatives.
   8. For Lecturer in Economics: Desirable: Specialization in Development Economics, one year experience in community issues.
   9. For Lecturer in English and Journalism: M.A. English with Masters/Ph.D. In Journalism/Mass Communication. With demonstrated experience in Print Journalism and Modern Technology based media production.
   10. For Lecturer in Child Development: Desirable: Child Development, Human Development and Family Studies.
   11. For Lecturer in Social Anthropology: Desirable: Specialization in Social Anthropology/Sociology/Anthropology.
   12. For Lecturer in Education: M.Sc. (Home Science/Biological Science/Physical Science) and M.Ed. Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant subject. Knowledge of working on computers for graphics, Art and Media creation.

No TA/DA will be permissible for attending the Interview or joining the post, if selected.
