As a member of Pliva Group of Companies (headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia), we have just completed construction of a 'state of the art' Research and Development (R&D) Centre in Goa, Although pharmaceutical product development will be our ultimate goal, the initial focus is on performing bioequivalence / pharmacokinetic studies for our in-house developed products. The R&D Center is expected to be operational by the end of 1st quarter of 2006.

We are inviting applications for the following positions:

• Principal Investigator: The candidate must be a Medical or Pharmacy or Pharmacology graduate with postgraduate qualification (in any life science) with at least 5 years of working experience in clinical trials/ pharmacokinetic studies.

• Head of Quality Assurance: MSc. or PhD (preferably, in the area of Chemistry or Pharmacy) with working experience of at least 5 years in the field of clinical trials/pharmacokinetic studies and knowledge in GCP/GLP/GMP and international regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products registration is essential.

• Head of Biochemistry and Pathology Laboratories: A medical graduate with MD (in pathology) or DCP and 5 years experience in running diagnostic laboratories preferably at a Clinical Research Organisation and/or Clinical Diagnostic Center with modern equipments.

• Senior Clinical Research Associates I Clinical Research Associates: Graduates in medicine or pharmacy or pharmacology with postgraduate degree(s) in Pharmacology or in the area of Clinical Pharmacy are encouraged to apply. Working experience in clinical trials/pharmacokinetic studies is essential, particularly for senior positions.

• Senior Biostatistician/ Biostatistician: MSc. in Statistics with 3-8 yrs of experience in biostatistics and use of SAS and WinNonlin software.

• Quality Control Specialists (Bioanalytical/ Clinical): MSc. or PhD (preferably, in the area of Chemistry or Pharmacy) with required experience in the field of clinical trials/pharmacokinetic studies. Knowledge in GCP/GLP/GMP and international regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products registration is essential.

The place of work will be Corlim - Old Goa. Excellent conditions will be offered to the successful candidates. Remuneration package will commensurate with qualification and experience.
