Qualification: Graduates/ Post Graduates in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communications with 2-6 years of experience.

Mandatory for all positions: Good programming, debugging skills and analytical skills. Operating Systems like Unix, Linux and ROTS. Exposure to all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.

ICDS-Front End

• Front end ASIC Design/ RTL Design & verification
• Proficiency in Verilog/ VHDL, Vera/ Specman, C/C++
• Must have developed test benches/ verification environment for a few modules/ full chip on several projects.

DFT Engineers

• Digital Design experience
• Internal Scan, Memory BIST, Boundry scan, JTAG, NAND tree
• Test vector generation, ATPG, post silicon verification
• Scripting - Perl, Tcl/ Tk
• Knowledge of synthesis, timing closure - STA and P&R flow

Back-End/ Physical Design Engineers

• ASIC physical design includes full chip P&R flow, clock tree synthesis, SI, physical verification - DRC/ LVS
• IO cell development, automation using Perl
• Exposure to Cadence, Magma and Synopsys suite of tools
• Must have worked on one full-chip tapeout with timing closure using Prime Time.

Mixed Signal/ Analog Circuit Design Engineers

• Good analytical and debugging skills and understanding of IC design flow.
• Experience of standard IC design flows/ tools including Matlab, Hspice
• Design of analog circuits like ADC/ DAC, Op-amp, bandgap, analog fitters etc. and strong background of MOS transistors circuit analysis
• Custom Layout of analog modules including Transistor Randomization and Matching
• Knowledge of layout integration issues of mixed signal SoC
• Working in Solaris environment is necessary.

Physical Layer/ Layer 1 Engineers

• C&D Development environment
• Very good understanding of Wireless communication systems
• Awareness of communication Channels & behavior, different aberrations of communications & remedies and real-time embedded concepts
• Very good in processors & peripherals, Wireless/ Cellular/ BTS/ UMTS concepts
• Should have worked on DSP, Assembly and L1
• Familiar with Anritsu environment and MD8480B scripting
• Knowledge of other equipment like Fading simulators, Noise emulators, Spectrum analyzers along with L2/L3 and RF Concepts would be an added advantage.

Wireless Protocol Stack Development and Test Engineers

• GSM-GPRS/EDGE, UMTS, CDMA Architecture & Protocols. Layer-3 (NAS)/ Layer-2, Call Processing
• C/C++ with Embedded Real-Time Development background
• Exposure to RLC/ MAC, BSSGP, LLC-Relay Protocol, VxWorks is desirable

Wireline Engineers

• Development/ enhancement/ sustenance of switching software or call processing software
• Experience with embedded systems and debugging tools, Q.931, Q.921 (E1/T1-PRI/BRI)
• Software sustaining or development experience on PBX or PABX or EPABX.

Mobile Application Development and Test Engineers

• Mobile Application Development like WAP, Browser, SMS, MMS
• Multimedia Applications like Media Player, Video Telephony, Camera
• PIM applications like Phonebook, Calendar, Scheduler, etc
• Integration testing, test harness and test case development, WBT.

Datacom Development and Test Engineers

• Development/ Sustenance/ enhancement of L2/L3 protocols and IP Applications
• Protocols: OSPF, BGP, IPv6, RIP, RSVP, MPLS, LDP;LAN Protocols/ WAN Protocols (PPP, Frame Relay), QoS, NAT, Firewall, TCP/IP, RTP, UDP, H.323, SIP, GDB, KGDB, Softlce
• IP Security: IPSec, PKE
• OAM: SNMP or CLI based OAM software development on Datacom/ telecom devices
• Operating System: Unix/ Embedded OS/ Linux or Embedded Linux
• Programming languages (For Developers): C/C++
• Testing (For Test Engineers): System testing, test setup design (topology, configuration, service), test automation etc.

Symbian Baseport and Integration Engineers

• Experience in Symbian 9.x/8.x baseport implementation on different platforms like TI OMAP etc.
• Experience in reproducing/ analyzing and gathering data about baseport related issues
• Awareness of Symbian EA2 (Real-Time Kernel) environment
• Exposure in porting WLAN/ BT protocols to Symbian based platform would be an added advantage.

LINUX Experts

• Expertise in Linux OS on following areas: Kernel level: IP stack modifications, Netfilters (both at the user and kernel levels), IP tables, device drivers, file systems and kernel memory management User Level: IPCs, porting from from/to Linux OS.
• Hands on experience on Monta Vista Linux is desirable.

IN-Product Support Engineers

• Unix Scripting, Call flow between SCP and IP, Switch
• Knowledge in Call flows related to Prepaid and VPN
• Experience in front ending customer complaint calls, patch building and testing, managing software version streams, Product Verification
• Hardware: Experience in setting up and configuration labs using HP-Unix servers.

Technical Trainers

• Wireless/ Technology Experts in GSM, GPRS, UMTS, EDGE, CDMA, Switching
• Product knowledge of BSC, BTS, MSC is desirable.

Release Management

• Strong at Unix user level
• Knowledge of Perl, Linux Shell Scripts, Unix
• Familiarity with FTP, CVS, TELNET, WINZIP, Clearcase
