1. Director: Software Development (Reference: DSD)
   Provide technical and organizational leadership to the entire software development team in Bangalore. Recruit technical staff and managers to rapidly grow the size and scope of the software team. Plan, specify and execute software development projects in conjunction with Synplicity, USA. The projects may include physical synthesis and verification tools for FPGAs and Structured ASICs, Graphical User Interfaces and DSP Tools.

   BE/ BTech / ME / MTech/ Ph.D in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent. 12+ years of related experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role and 5 years of hands-on experience in EDA software development. A proven track record of successfully managing the development and release cycle of EDA software products plus strong communication, organization and technical skills are a must.

2. Software Development Manager, FPGA Tools (Reference: MGSW)
   Lead a team of EDA software developers in designing, developing and maintaining FPGA Physical Synthesis tools.

   BE/ BTech / ME / MTech / Ph.D in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science with 6+ years of related experience of which at least 2 years in a leadership role and 4 years of hands-on experience in developing Logic Synthesis, Physical Synthesis, Mapping or Partitioning Software, preferably for FPGAs. Candidate should have extensive experience with C/ C++, Object-oriented design principles, complex data structures and algorithms.

3. Software Engineers / Senior Software Engineers (Reference: SE)
   Be a part of the FPGA or ASIC core development team. 2+ years of experience in EDA software development at a major EDA / Semiconductor company ion Synthesis/ Mapping / Layout/ Verification/ Timing Analysis/ Parsers. BE/BTech /ME/MTech / Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent with expertise in C/ C++, data structures and algorithms.

4. GUI Engineers (Reference: GUE)
   Will develop and maintain Graphical User Interfaces for Synplicity tools. 2+ years of experience developing user interfaces for industrial strength EDA products is required. Extensive experience with the MFC and / or Qt development platforms and with developing applications using Microsoft Visual C++ or .NET is also required. BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech/ Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent. Must be an expert in object oriented design. Experience with MainWin is a plus.

5. Manager, ASIC Products (Reference: MGASIC)
   Lead a team of enthusiastic and dynamic engineers working on our ASIC technology products. This team will have a broad mandate with responsibilities that include product definition and product verification testing from an ASIC designer perspective, customer support, QoR analysis, integration issues with other third party tools, etc. The candidate will provide technical leadership to the team, nurture and mentor it, contribute individually to identified key tasks. He/ She will have to frequently interact with our US team.

   BE/ BTech /ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering, excellent verbal and written communication, minimum 10 years experience of which the last 5 years will have been in a leadership role in all facets of ASIC design flow such as RTL coding, verification, DFT, timing analysis, synthesis and place & route. A thorough understanding of issues in deep sub-micron designs and involvement in large tape-outs as technical lead / individual contributor is a definite plus.

6. Members / Senior Members -Technical Staff ASIC / FPGA products.
   Being a part of our ASIC or FPGA product team, you would create product specifications & verify them from our customers' perspective and work as design consultants to help our customers achieve the best results with their existing designs.

   1. ASIC Product team: (Reference: MTSASIC)
      BE/ BTech/ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering, excellent verbal & written communication, minimum 3 years experience in any of the following ASIC design areas: RTL coding (Verilog / VHDL) and Synthesis, Physical design (Physical Synthesis, Floor Planning and Place & Route) Formal verification Timing analysis. Knowledge of Overall ASIC design flows, Perl and Unix Shell scripting and digital design concepts, Hands-on working expertise on relevant EDA tools such as Synplify ASIC, DC, RTL Complier, PrimeTime, Formality, LEC, Ambit, PKS, Silicon Ensemble, etc.

   2. FPGA Product team: (Reference: MTSFPGA)
      BE/ BTech/ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering, excellent verbal & written communication, minimum 3 years experience with RTL design, Perl and Unix Shell scripting, synthesis and Formal Verification in an FPGA design flow. Hands on expertise on EDA tools such as Synplify Pro, Amplify, Leonardo spectrum, precision synthesis, Xilinx XST, Quartus, DC FPGA, Active HDL, Modelsim, NC-sim. Knowledge of architectures of one or more leading FPGAs.

7. Members / Senior Members Technical Staff-Regional Technical Consultant (RTC) Group (Reference: MTSRTC)
   Being a part of the RTC group, you would provide technical support to customers worldwide, solve complex technical problems and take ownership for product benchmarks that will contribute to product sales.

   BE/ BTech/ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering, excellent verbal & written communication, minimum 3 years experience in FPGA design flows particularly RTL coding (Verilog or VHDL) synthesis and timing analysis, Logic design and / or verification of ASICs or FPGAs. Proven record of having worked on customer issues.

   Good grasp of digital design concepts with understanding of one or more leading FPGAs and hands on experience with EDA tools (Leonardo spectrum, Precision synthesis, Xilinx XST, Quartus, Synplify Pro, Amplify, DC FPGA, Active HDL, Modelsim, NC-sim). Manual placement experience on designs is a plus.

8. Sales Account Manager (Reference: SAM)
   Help in expanding the existing logic synthesis and verification business throughout the country but principally in Bangalore and New Delhi.

   Tasks will include preparing monthly sales forecasts, developing relationships with the FPGA vendors and FAEs in the region, achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Estimated travel time is 40%.

   BE/ BTech/ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering is required. A diploma/ degree in marketing will be advantageous with at least 5 years experience in sales management in the EDA or programmable logic industry plus a proven track record in selling at all India level.

9. Field Application Engineer (Reference: FAE)
   Analyse technical design automation requirements of our customers, present solutions, demonstrate how they address the requirements and provide convincing proof by evaluation, training and benchmarking with actual customer design. BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech in Electrical Engineering with more than 3 years experience in multi-tasking between projects, scripting (Perl & Bash) and reporting (Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel) is required.

   Willingness to travel within the country (50%) plus the ability to work in a variety of customer environments are necessary.
