A Leading Lebanese Cement Manufacturer with a capacity of 1.5 million tons/year with 3 kilns in operations and a large export market is seeking a Manager of its Engineering Drawing Office to lead the design team. The company is in the process of expanding its capacity and taking up various upgrading projects and development works in the plant.

The Drawing Office Manager is expected to be a technical drawing expert with multi discipline knowledge & experience.

Operational Duties:

• Checking and modifying the detailed engineering drawings of the suppliers/ consultants/ contractors for the upgrading projects.
• Designing and drawing of the development projets of the existing cement plant.
• Inspecting and checking the fabricated parts as per the drawings.
• Introducing standards and methods in the drawing office.
• Guiding the team of Draftsmen/ Designers available in the plant for drawing modification works, spare parts drawings, conversion of old drawings to Auto Cad drawings, measurement of stock pile, etc.
• Incorporating technical training for the Draftsmen/ Designers.

Qualification:

• A Degree or Diploma in engineering
• Significant experience in the Design & Drawing Office of cement plants and cement projects or with a consultant for cement projects.
• Auto Cad knowledge and experience.
• Excellent English knowledge.
• Knowledge of civil engineering basics is a plus.
