the selected person will report to the Head of Procurement and will be responsible for purchase planning and procurement functions of the company. The total value of purchases handed by him would be around USD 10 million per annum and would cover raw materials, consumable, engineering spares and capital goods etc. local purchase and imports.

Ideal candidates will be engineering graduates with additional qualification in Materials Management, below 35 years of age, with minimum 5 years buying experience from reputed professionally managed companies, preferably MNCs/FMCG companies. They must have independently managed annual procurement of around Rs. 25 crores or more. They must have sound commerical acumen and excellent negotiation skills and exposure of working in ERP software such as Oracle/ BaaN.
