1. Research Scientist-II (Medical/Dental)
   Age: Below 45 years
   Essential: MBBS/BDS with 6 years research/teaching experience in P&SM, Pathology/RT or equivalent or MD/MDS with minimum 2 years research/teaching experience in P&SM, pathology/RT or equivalent. Desirable: the candidate should be interested in pursuing a research career, have a good academic background, experience in research/teaching in the medical field (any of the specialties indicated above or equivalent).

2. Research Scientist - I ( System & Data Base Administrator) :
   Age: Below 45 years
   Essetnial: First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or Statistics /Mathematics/B.E./B.Tech./Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology, from a recognized University. Desirable: (i) Prior exposure to to programming or project management. (ii) 3 years experience of handling large database & data processing using software packages or Ph.D/M.Tech. in relevant field. (iii) Knowledge of SQL Server, Java Script, ASP Programming, VB with knowledge of Crystal. Reports, data processing, compilation etc. Familiarity with Application packages like MS-Office, Fox Pro, Oracle, Developer 2000 or specific use of software packages relating to Cancer Registries, will be an added advantage. Job requirement includes Developing programmes for Data processing & analysis. Hardware & networking maintenance.

3. Programmer (3 Posts)
   Age: Below 35 years
   Essetial: Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Computer Science) or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Maths/Statistics or Computer Application or equivalent from a recognized university. Desirable: At least 3 years experience in programming in SQL Server, Java Script, ASP Programming. VB with knowledge of Crystal Reports, developing, programmes for data processing, compilation etc. Familiarity with Application packages like MS – Office, Fox Pro, Oracle, Developer 2000, will be an added advantage.

4. Statistician (2 Posts)
   Age: Below 35 years
   Essential: First Class Master’s degree in Statistics/Bio- statistics or equivalent from a recognized university, with at least 3 years experience in statistics as applicable to health and use of computers. Desirable: Knowledge of statistical related computer software like SPSS, EPI INFO, EPI-STAT & application packages like MS-Office, Fox Pro. Familiarity with other programmes like VB, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, Oracle, ASP Programming/Java Script will be an advantage.

5. Data Entry Operator:
   Age: Below 35 years
   Graduate (with good command over spoken and Written (with good command over spoken and written grammatical English) preferably with written grammatical English) preferably with Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years Diploma in Computer Science/Application or equivalent. Speed of 8000 key depression per hour & at least 3 years experience in operation of PC (data entry and word processing packages MS-Office, DTP packages like Page maker, Power Point, Corel Draw etc). Accounts, cash book ledgers will be a major advantage. Familiarity and use of software programmes will be an added qualification.
