T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, one of the well-recognised, premier B-schools in the county, is looking out for additional faculty members to enhance its current core strength. Applications are invite from interested and suitably qualified candidates for faulty positions in different disciplines of management, with one of the following broad profiles.

Profile 1 - Academics Scholars

1. Candidates with Ph.D. or equivalent degree in any discipline of management with or without prior work experience.
2. Candidates with Ph.D. or equivalent degree in non-management disciplines such as economics, commerce, computer science / information technology, mathematics, statistics, sociology, psychology, anthropology and political science, and with a keen interest in pursuing a career in management education. Such candidates would be required to undergo "mentorship" under a senior faculty member of TAPMI for a year to prepare them for a career in management education. They would be confirmed in service, subject to their successful completion of mentorship.

They would be expected to contribute significantly to enhancement of TAPMI;s intellectual capital through research and publications, in addition to their teaching responsibilities.

Profile 2 - Industry Professionals
Professionally qualified (MBA / CA / ICWA etc.), self-motivated and high-energy candidates with significant years of experience in industry at middle and senior executive positions and with a natural flair, aptitude and interest to purse a career in the academia.

In addition to normal teaching responsibilities, they should be willing to assume leadership roles in the institutes industry interface initiatives including executive education programmes and consulting assignments. They would also be expected to articulate and share their experiences with their colleagues and to assume responsibilities for academic administration, if necessary.
