At Infineon Technologies, Bangalore, we develop leading-edge wireline & wireless communication products in advanced CMOS technologies like 130nm, 90nm & 65nm. We are looking for professionals with 3+ years of experience in the following fields.

Networking ASIC Layout & Implementation

• Experience with Magma or Avant or Cadence layout tools
• Synthesis, static timing, DFT (MBist, EDT, Bscan), formal verification
• Knowledge of Timing Closure, Clocking, Power distribution
• In-depth knowledgeof ASIC design flows, testability techniques will be a plus
• Understanding of high speed interfaces, Spice.

Networking ASIC Design & Verification

• Design/Verification using Verilog/VHDL for ASIC implementation
• Experience in using Synopsys tools for Synthesis & use of Linting tools in the design
• Extensive use of scripting, PERL, C in the previous projects
• Experience with Design Verification methodologies using HVLs (Vera, Specman, SystemC), HW-SW co-verification etc.
• Knowledge of various networking standards & concepts like 802.3ae, 802, 17, SONET/SDH, POS, ATM, Ethernet.

Advanced Wireless Baseband SOC Chip Layout and Chip Integration

• Chip layout & Implementation
• Knowledge of 90nm/65nm is an advantage
• Experience in Design Compiler/Physical Complier, Prime Time, Prime Time - SI
• Experience in Magma or Cadence or Apollo, Calibre or Assura, Voltage Storm
• SI and OCV issues in deep-submicron (90nm/65nm)
• Low Power/Low Leakage SOC
• RDL for Flip-chip design, package feasibility
• Formal Verification tools
• PERL, TCL languages.

Advanced Wireless Baseband SOC Design Methodology

• Experience defining deep submicron/LV/LP design metholdology
• Knowledge of 90nm/65nm is an advantage
• Should be very conversant with IC development methodology from RTL 2 GDS and relevant EDA tools used in the industry (Synthesis, Simulation, formal Verification, Static Timing Analysis, DFT, FE/BE interface etc.) and should be hands-on to resolve issues/suggest actions/initiate alternate plans
• Experience with Design methodology of LV/LP with complex power management
• VHDL and Verilog coding
• UNIX shell script, Perl and TCL
• ClearCase or other data management tools.
