Essential skills

• Good C Programming, design, testing and debugging skills
• Knowledge of Protocols in telecom and Wireless domain
• Exposure to Real time systems

Experience in any of the following:

• Development and testing of protocol stacks for wireless domain (GSM/GPRS, UMTS, WAP, TCP/IP, PPP, BT etc)
• Development of MMI/UI for handsets and integration on platform
• Development of Middleware for handsets (File systems, Data managers, security Components etc.)
• Development and integration of Device drivers (USB, Memory devices, IrDA, BT etc.)
• Development and integration of J2ME on platform (knowledge of
• Integration with SIM, security etc.)
• Development of Java Applets for Mobile Handsets.
• Development of Mobile Applications (Sync ML Clients, DRM, Email, Instant Messenger etc.)
• Development of SDK for Mobile Application developers
• Unit Test/Integration Test Design and execution.
• End-to-End Product Test Design and Tools (Inter-operability testing, conformance testing/type approval, requirements to Test tractability)
