Domain knowledge: TDM/ IP/ ATM/ xDSL/ SONET/ GR303, V5/ CDMA-MSC/ VOIP technologies and protocols.

Areas:
NMS/EMS (Code: TSD: NMS/EMS)

• Object oriented design and analysis using standard CASE tools like Rational Rose.
• Core Java, Thread Programming, JNI, Java Network Programming, SWINGS, Servlets, RMI, JDBC, Java Script, XML, XSL, Design Patterns, J2EE, CORBA.
• Exposure to SNMP, MIBs, TL1

Telecom OAM&P & Firmware (Code: OAM&P/FWD)

• Object oriented analysis and design using standard tools like Rational Rose/Rhapsody.
• Distributed Object Oriented programming with standard IDLs
• RTOs based application development preferably in VxWorks
• Experience in multithreaded programming and performance tuning in C/C++/Java
• Information Modelling with XML
• Exposure to JSWAT/GDB tools for simulator/target based debugging

VOIP Signaling and Call Processing (Code: TSD: VOIP/CP)

Positions available: Sr. Member/ Design Lead

• Development of Call Processing applications with signaling protocols like SIP, MEGACO, SIGTRAN, SS7 and ISDN
• Developed or tested VOIP Multi media Transport protocols, VOIP Gate ways and QOS issues in VOIP network
• Experience in implementation of VOIP Gateways, Soft Switches, Feature servers, SIP phone Clients, SIP Proxies.
• Familiarity with network security, Network Management and OAM, Billing and provisioning issues in VOIP networks.
• Exposure to call control and collection control mechanisms in PBX, CLASS5 and CLASS4 Telecom switches and AIN/IN call models and services.

Positions available: Sr. Member/ Design Lead

Domain knowledge: Telecom protocols like SS7/C7, SCCP, MTP, & ISDN and ATM knowledge and protocols like MEGACO, MGCP, SIP SIGTRAN, WAP and SNMP for Telecom Networks are essential.

You need to have expertise in: • Test Methodologies, test planning design, execution and problem reporting • Test automation tools and test instruments in telecom testing • testing of call processing features in any class exchange-PBX, Local, Tandem • knowledge of CLASS features-call forwarding, call trace • working knowledge of AIN/IN call models • exposure to software testing with client/server testing and Unix testing

Common requirements:
• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA • At least 1 year experience for member, 3 years for Senior Member, and 5 years for design lead • Exposure to all phases of SDLC and CMS procedures preferably in ClearCase • proven analytical and problem solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
