The Whirlpool Global Technology & Engineering Center (GTEC) at Pune provides Design services to Whirlpool Product development centers located across the globe. We are looking for passionate and talented individuals to support the cutting edge design projects at GTEC in Pune.

Mechanical Design Engineers (Code: MD)
Candidate should be BE/BTEch (Mechanical) from premier institute, with 2-5 years of excellent design experience. Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal manufacturing processes in appliances/auto industry would be desirable. Proficiency in Pro-E is a must. Working knowledge of Pro-Mechanica, Moldflow and ANSYS is preferred.

Finite Element Analysts (Code: FEA)
Candidate should be ME/MTech (Mechanical) from premier institute, with 2-5 years of design experience in Auto/Appliance industry. Hand on experience on ANSYS is a must. Working knowledge of Pro-E is desirable.

Electronics Engineers (Code: EE)
Ideal candidates would be BE/Btech (Electronics) from premier institutes, with 2-5 years of experience in software and hardware design of automatic electronics controls. She/He must possess good knowledge of electronics design tools & process and should be able to interact effectively with vendors.

Candidates selected for the above positions will be part of various design development projects, mostly for offshore requirements. Knowledge of Six-Sigma processes and tools is desirable. She/He must be willing to travel inland and overseas as per need. Team skills, good communication and interpersonal skills are prerequisites.
